Interesting to look around. The tour was in Italian and there wasn’t an opportunity to do an English tour.
Cost 5€.
There was a film at the beginning with had some English subtitles and provided a good overview.
The Archeological Museum is a better spend of time and dollars.
5 Euro for non-English tour and only 4 rooms you can easliy see under 10 minutes. Not worth it at all.
Very interesting.
Am not sure if it was because it was out of season. But it was closed and when I called the number to check opening times, the person didn't speak English and I also looked at the site. Which didn't give out much information.
Suggestive and fascinating place. A journey through time that identifies the roots of Taranto. Absolutely worth visiting.
Anyone who visits Taranto and wants to fully understand the history of the city cannot help but pay us a visit. Hypogeum rich in history, albeit full of reproductions faithful to the originals, with attention to the smallest details and very kind and helpful staff. The guide manages to perfectly explain everything in a simple and exhaustive way. The small door overlooking the sea at the end of the tour alone is worth the paltry cost of the ticket. Absolutely worth visiting!
Small museum, you almost don't recognize it, but inside you go back in time and history.
Congratulations to the owners, who continue to carry out the museum maintenance project, at their expense!
Compared to this there are much better places and
calling it a museum is an exaggeration. Five euros are wasted to see imitations of archaeological finds and the conditions of the place were highly questionable.
You can very well avoid visiting it.
A little pearl to visit. Passing the front door you have no idea what lies ahead upon entering. Museum packed with so much history! The owner who guided us during the visit makes the museum even more suggestive. It's worth it just to receive a bit of that beautiful passion transmitted by the Owner. Thanks thanks thanks
At a cost of 5 euros, you will enjoy an interesting guided tour with lots of information on the history of the ancient city.
Advised.
